Dr. Sanjay Shah, MD

Sanjay Shah, MD joined SEPA Pain Management in 2006.
Prior to this, Dr. Shah earned his undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in anesthesiology as well as a fellowship training in pain management, both at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Shah is a pain management physician who specializes in treating debilitating and painful conditions through various interventional orthopedic therapies. His philosophy for treating patients is based on staying current with the latest pain management, minimally invasive spine surgery and regenerative techniques so that he can provide the best possible care for his patients.
In 2014, Dr. Shah founded Regenexx Philadelphia, where he began treating patients by utilizing their own platelets and stem cells to regenerate tissue. Dr. Shah is dual board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.On a personal note, Dr. Shah is an avid do-it-yourselfer and makes every effort to stay current on technology. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Patrick Fall, DO

Dr. Fall grew up in central Pennsylvania, and, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. He received a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ.. Dr. Fall moved to the Philadelphia area in 1997 and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2001. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and, The Jefferson Pain Center. Dr. Fall is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, dual-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Fall joined SEPA Pain Management in 2006. He obtained certification in Suboxone therapy in 2014, and, is certified by the state of Pennsylvania, to register patients in the PA medical marijuana program.
Dr. Fall provides state of the art pain management treatments, with precision and compassion. His goal is to allow his patients to become active participants in their own treatment, which, he believes leads to better outcomes and overall care. He strives to stay current with his treatment plans using evidence-based protocols in all aspects of the care he provides. Dr. fall is committed to finding the right treatment for each patient, increasing quality of life, and restoring function. It is his intention to provide help and hope to patients who feel they have exhausted other options.
Dr. Fall has been married for over twenty years and has three children. He enjoys spending time with his family and pets. He’s an enthusiastic skier, traveler and movie buff.

Dr. Jeremy Jaffe, MD

Dr. Jaffe joined South East Pain Management in 1996. Since then he has gained a reputation as a patient listener and effective communicator while providing a thoughtful, considerate, compassionate and comprehensive approach towards chronic pain management. He enjoys the challenge of first establishing each patient’s primary pain generator and then creating an individualized multimodal approach to reduce pain and improve quality of life.
Dr. Jaffe’s areas of subspecialty interest include mechanical low back pain and opioid dependence counseling and treatment. Dr. Jaffe is also a registered provider of medical marijuana certification in Pennsylvania. He spent over 20 years helping to train medical students and anesthesia residents in his capacity as Director of Medical Education for United Anesthesia Services-Abington Division. Dr. Jaffe currently serves as Vice President and Director of Human Resources for SEPA Pain Management.
Dr. Jaffe is a graduate of Haverford College. He received his medical school training at Temple University School of Medicine and following an internship at Abington Memorial Hospital, he completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where the majority of his subspecialty training was devoted to pain management.
When not helping patients, Dr. Jaffe devotes a great deal of time to charitable causes, including his annual participation as co-chair for Rockin Docs for Diabetes Cure. His other interests include drumming, bicycling, tennis and travel.

Dr. Phillip Sasso, DO

Dr. Sasso has been a physician with SEPA since its inception. A lifelong Pennsylvanian, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his internal medicine residency at Milton Hershey Medical Center, his anesthesia residency at Thomas Jefferson University, and his pain management fellowship at Jefferson Pain Center.
Dr. Sasso is presently the Chairman of Anesthesia and Director of Pain Management Services at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health. He has also served as a member of various committees at Abington Hospital and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Sasso has also participated in numerous medical research projects and is a member of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists.
Over his career, Dr. Sasso has employed a multimodal and empathetic approach in the management of his patients’ pain. On a personal level, he enjoys time with his family, cooking and, when time allows, an occasional round of golf and tennis.

Franmar Kopko, B.S. Pharmacy, RPh

Franmar Kopko, is a registered pharmacist in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy. She currently practices as a Medical Cannabis Clinical Pharmacist and is the Director of Medical Dispensary Operations at The Apothecarium Dispensary.
Ms. Kopko is responsible for overseeing all the medical professionals at The Apothecarium Dispensaries in Pennsylvania along with verifying and reviewing patient certifications, providing consultations and therapeutic recommendations to patients; and providing education for both staff and outreach events.
